ABOUT
Conversations for Piano is a celebration of the depth and quality of Australian music explored through the works of Dulcie Holland. In 2021, pianist Ronan Apcar recorded and released the unpublished and unheard music of legendary Australian composer and educator Dulcie Holland, that he had discovered in the archives of the National Library of Australia. After its release Dulcie Holland Crescent became an ABC Classic’s featured album. A year on, Ronan returns to the National Library of Australia to perform these works live, paired with compelling pieces by other Australian composers both past and present. Afterwards, continue the conversation with Ronan and fellow music enthusiasts with a two course dinner in Bookplate, complete with matched wines from Eden Road Winery.
