ABOUT
The end of year Chamber Music Festival pays tribute to one of music’s most original innovators, American George Crumb. ANAM musicians perform Crumb’s masterworks Makrokosmos, Black Angels, and Vox Balaenae, alongside music by composers including Messiaen, Duckworth, Sculthorpe, and Henderson. Experience a program guided by these visionary composers’ shared pantheistic curiosity and unbound imagination.
Hear Crumb's Eine Kleine Mitternachtsmusick after Thelonius Monk and the original Monk tune in this concert.
